Day Trip with Chocolate, Cheese, and a Castle

Description

This guided tour begins with a trip around the edge of Lake Zurich to the little medieval town of Rapperswil, also known as the “Town of Roses”. Charming streets, gardens of roses in bloom, and the imposing Rapperswil Castle with its breathtaking views characterize this idyllic setting.

Next on the itinerary is Einsiedeln, where participants will see the magnificent Benedictine abbey with its famous Black Madonna. A visit to a milk factory will provide insights into the world of cheese making, and participants will have the opportunity to sample the specialty cheeses on site.

The tour culminates at the Lindt Home of Chocolate in Kilchberg with an interactive museum tour, the biggest chocolate fountain in the world, and, of course, plenty of chocolate to sample.
