Day Trip to Mt. Pilatus
Description
The scenic coach journey leads along the shores of Lake Lucerne into Central Switzerland to the city of Lucerne. During a short city tour, you pass by the most important sights – such as Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church, and the KKL Culture and Congress Center.
Afterwards, there is time to explore the charming Old Town at your leisure. The journey then continues to Kriens, where you take a ride on the Panorama Gondola and the Dragon Ride aerial cableway to the top of Mt. Pilatus. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view of the spectacular Alpine scenery on a walk along the Dragon Trail.
The highlights of the day are the descent on the world´s steepest cogwheel railway (48% gradient) and the subsequent leisurely cruise on Lake Lucerne back to Lucerne.
