Admission Swiss National Museum

Description

The National Museum is located in the heart of Zurich by the Main Railway Station. It houses the largest collection of cultural-historical objects in the country. The museum building is over 100 years old and resembles a fairytale castle. History comes alive behind its thick walls: how did past generations live, think and feel? The material heritage they left behind - handicrafts or mundane everyday objects - provides us with answers, from prehistoric times to the present. The National Museum Zurich also addresses socially relevant topics using special exhibits. Quality souvenirs, Swiss crafts and design products are also on sale from the museum shop.
