City Tour for Visually Impaired People

Description

On this tour of the city, well-trained, sensitive tour guides invite people with a physical disability to experience Zurich through sound, touch, and smell – and most importantly, without any barriers.

The tour is aimed at people who use a wheelchair or walking stick, as well as those who use hearing aids or who have a visual impairment, to experience Zurich’s Old Town.

This tour is a more accessible alternative to the most popular tour of Zurich, the Zurich Old Town Walking Tour.

In contrast to the better-known tour, this route is designed to avoid any obstacles that could get in the way. In addition, the tour guides are provided with training to help them understand the individual needs of participants as well as the specific challenges they face.

A smaller group size ensures that all participants can be seen and heard.

Meeting point

Zürich, at the main entry of train station Stadelhofen
