The tour starts by heading to the Lindt Chocolate Shop, where top-quality Swiss chocolate can be purchased at discount prices. The journey then continues to the hilly region of Appenzell, where a visit to a show dairy complete with cheese-tasting is on the program.
Afterwards, a ride on the aerial cableway takes you from Brüllisau up to the summit of the panoramic mountain, Hoher Kasten. From the spectacular revolving restaurant (food not included), guests can enjoy a fabulous 360° view of the surrounding region. Back in the village of Appenzell, a stroll accompanied by a tour guide leads through the picturesque pedestrian zone, where typical, beautifully adorned half-timbered houses line the famous Landsgemeindeplatz square.
